Studio of Painting 3
The Department of Painting III is of an intermedia character; students work primarily with painterly vocabulary but they can use other media, such as photography, installation, or animation as a means of expression. Group crits and one-to-one tutorials form the essential means of our curriculum; these lead students to developing their creative potentials and to the ability to defend their work in critical discussions. Students acquire a universal overview in the discipline, they are expected both to reflect and to interpret it in relation to their own artistic activities. Our department represents an experimental laboratory and a unique communication background based on a feedback between students and teachers. It is a preserve for concentrated and reflected artistic activities, including participation in exhibitions, workshops, field trips, etc.
